Organ Donation and You

My friend Andrew Ewalt posted a nice summary of some of the common organ donation questions people have when they think about the issue. You can read the full article here.

One thing I would point out is that you have flexibility with the acceptable types and uses of your donation. You can donate only specific organs or everything, and you can restrict the acceptable use to transplant only or you can donate for research and transplant.

If you’re not sure what you have documented for organ donation, review your estate plan today to make sure you understand it and it reflects your wishes.
